Trish Middleton is an Irish multidisciplinary artist whose textile practice drifts between landscape and emotion. Educated at the National College of Art and Design, she works with found and familiar materials—cloth once worn, fibres gathered from nature, threads that carry memory. Her slow, intuitive process allows colour, texture, and rhythm to surface organically, like patterns shaped by tide or wind. Each piece becomes both abstract and grounded, capturing the quiet dialogue between outer terrain and inner feeling.

Alongside her studio practice, Middleton runs textile workshops that reflect her belief in creativity as a powerful emotional language. She encourages others to explore touch, colour, and making as pathways to connection—both with themselves and with the world around them. Through her art and teaching, she invites people to experience textiles not only as material, but as a gentle space for expression, grounding, and wellbeing.
